Scoil an Athar Tadhg Carraig na bhFear – Strictly Come Dancing
Call out to our school community and the wider local community for dancers and helpers!
Friends,
We are seriously contemplating organising a Strictly Come Dancing event in late March 2020 at the Rochestown Park Hotel in conjunction with Kevin Rowe Events Ltd. We discussed this at our recent Parent’s Association A.G.M. and our meeting of Thursday last November 14th. We are seeking the assistance of our school community with this major school fundraising event.
We are conscious that this undertaking needs to be carefully planned and will require volunteers to partake in dancing and an organising committee to ensure we have a successful, enjoyable and beneficial school and community event.
The project in numbers is summarised as follows:
· 1 Night event – March 2020 (Friday or Saturday night)
· 28 Dancers – (14 Ladies & 14 Gents)
· 7 Week Training Schedule – minimum of 1 session of 3hour duration per week.
· 1 Launch Night – (during week 2, prior to event)
· €30 per ticket – Rochestown Park Hotel has a capacity for 700 plus attendees.
· Dance Night Voting / Social Media Advertising &Publicity Campaign.
We invite and look forward to feedback and expressions of interest from our parent body to support this event.
