Dear Parents/Guardians,
Greetings to you all as we settle back into school in this most unusual year. Thank you for your co-operation with all aspects of school life as we endeavour to work through what is now referred to as the new normal.
As you may remember we had just completed the recording of a CD in aid of Marymount Hospice prior to the government closing all schools. Unfortunately all plans to launch and sell the CD have had to be deferred. Whenever it is considered safe we will hold a formal launch of the CD and hope to sell it in the usual manner.
In an effort to raise much needed funds for Marymount Hospice, who like many other charities have had their fundraising plans greatly interrupted and in conjunction with Marymount we hope to commence fundraising for them online. Mr. Lucey has kindly created a video of Mick Flannery and the children of fourth (Mr. O’Callaghan) fifth (Mrs. O’Mahony) fifth/sixth (Ms. Reen and sixth (Mr. White) 2019-2020. Many of the children from the above classes feature on this video accompanying Mick Flannery with his song “How High”.
