On the 19th of October, Scoil an Athar Tadhg held a fundraising pyjama day!
Mrs. Carey's (Ms. Howards new name!) fifth class organised the whole event. Two girls, Ashling & Cliodhna, started a petition to get 100 signatures in order for the event to go ahead! They then explained their idea to the school and everyone was really excited. Each pupil was asked to donate 2 euro some contributed even more. If you didn't want to wear your pyjamas you could wear a suitable tracksuit.
The pupils of our school raised a total of 803.70 euro which all went to a childrens ambulance charity called Bumbalance.
