Friendship week 14th -18th November
While some classes will focus on aspects of science this week*, all classes will be learning to promote inclusion across the school. Classes will also be learning the key message that at Scoil an Athar Tadhg we are pro-friendship and anti-bullying.
Each day this week will have a theme to it:
Mindfulness Monday
Reflecting on what it means to be a friend & some classes will focus on FRIENDSHIP poetry.
Together Tuesday
Pupils will wear odd socks coming to school. This is to show that we celebrate all differences between each other.
Wellbeing Wednesday
Cooperative team games.
Thankful Thursday
Practice gratitude on a friendship theme.
Friendship Friday
There will be assembly in the halla on the theme of friendship.
Class teachers will also be engaging in anti-bullying lessons.
*there will be a whole school focus on science for the month of January.
