On Friday the 3rd of June 31 Scoil an Athar Tadhg pupils went to MTU for Cork City Sports. At 09:00 the girls met and raced at 10:15. Megan O’Sullivan ran in a very fast heat finishing in 3rd place. In the relay the girls had no luck in some very fast races.
At 14:00 the boys met and raced shortly after 15:00. Jordan Murphy Maurice ran in a very fast race, unlucky not to get first! The rest of the boys did very well with many fourth-place finishes. In the relay the boys also had no luck with a very close race for third and fourth. It was great to be back after a number of years missed due to Covid. A special thanks to Ms. Orla O’Hallahan, Mr. Forde and Ms. O’Shaughnessy. I hope we win more next year.
